FREE AL is a plant expressly designed to regenerate and recover acid plates.
As it is known, plating in regular working conditions downgrades progressively adding heavy metal ions and weakening the action of the acid contained in solution, which significantly reduces its productivity and duration, since it loses its features and, consequently, its contents should be changed by introducing and formulating a new plate.
With FREE AL plant installation, it is possible to obtain plate purification by reporting the value of contained metals, restablishing sulphuric acid value and allowing work in regular operating conditions.
Plate by effects of a collection pump is mandatory when passing through a previous filter and later through a set of resins of high exchange power which will retain metal ions contained. This will allow maintaining acid features during a long time, grabbing the ions it contains.
So, resins act as an absorbent with a particular capacity. When this exchange capacity reaches its top, PLC of commandment closet sends pertinent signals to start counter current washing, it is, sending metal ions contained inside the resins to a deposit for later management or to a treatment plant for its neutralization and disaggregation in solid and liquid by compacting in a press filter.
